Send in Colonnades Magazine submissions by the end of Winter Term

Ahoy, All Majors!  Especially you lovely, artsy Folk…

So you like Art and Literature (me too!)? So every once and a while you catch yourself doodling in textbook margins or inking lines of poetry on the backs of napkins?  So creative writing and art making are a part of your everyday life?  So you cry at the end of “It’s A Wonderful Life”?  What does all this mean?!

I can tell you one thing–it means you should probably type up your fiction stories, nonfiction essays and poetry pieces and submit them for publication in the magazine.  OR, if art is you “bag” (a nice little tote you use to go organic grocery shopping in), then you should draw them up, scan them in, photograph them–whatever it takes–and submit those, too, for publication in Colonnades.

Don’t be like George Bailey, and have to see the finished magazine before you wish that you were in it!  Submit work now!  The deadline is the final day of Winter term!

All literary submissions will be collected at the Colonnades Office, room 304 in Whitley  Building.  All art submissions will be collected in the foyer of the Arts West building in JPEG form on CD or as hard copy upon request (e-mail Mark Brewin at the below address for more information).

Be a cool kid.  Auld Lang Syne.  When a bell rings, an angel gets its wings.  Poetry, Art, beauty.  All that stuff.
