“Tunnel of Oppression” on April 17

The Tunnel of Oppression is one of Elon’s premier diversity events. It is designed to allow student, faculty and staff to experience oppressive situations that still occur in today’s society.

This year participants will travel through the selected houses in the Greek Courts where they will experience uncomfortable situations on the basis of race, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic class. The purpose of the Tunnel of Oppression is to educate participants how their lives and the lives of close family and friends can be influenced by discrimination and ways they can overcome it!

Take on the Tunnel Thursday, April 17, 2008!
