Assistant professor Peter Kiwitt will show his 15-minute short “Break” at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25 in McEwen 011.
“Break” is a dramedy about a teacher who must accept that his marriage is ending. The short was directed by Kiwitt and produced by an all-student crew as part of the Cinema Capstone class last year designed to teach professional level production techniques. The short was screened at the University Film and Video Association this summer.
Kiwitt will also be showing the five-minute “Making of ‘Break’” after the short.
