Beginning next month, members of Elon’s Alumni Chapters will continue their commitment to service by volunteering around the country as part of national Make A Difference Day.
The

Boston Chapter Service Day Saturday, Oct. 4: Boston alumni will gather to volunteer with Cradles to Crayons, a program that serves low-income or homeless children by providing them the basic essentials they need to be safe, warm and ready to learn. http://www.elon.edu/e-net/Note.aspx?id=930358
D.C. Chapter Service Day Sunday, Oct. 5: D.C. alumni will make a difference by volunteering with Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN), helping developmentally and physically disabled children stretch and exercise. To volunteer with the event, please click below:

Triad Chapter Service Day Saturday, Oct. 18 & 25: Choose one or both of the dates and join the Piedmont Triad alumni as they walk for a cure for diabetes at Rhodes Stadium and Wake Forest University.

New York Chapter Service Day Saturday, Oct. 18. New York-area alumni will help fix up a city public school through the New York Cares program. The school serves 400 students with developmental, emotional and learning disabilities, including autism. http://www.elon.edu/e-net/Note.aspx?id=930372
Baltimore Chapter Service Day Sunday, Oct. 19: Baltimore-area alumni will participate as a team in the Susan G. Komen Maryland Race for the Cure. Alumni will participate in a 5k run or walk to benefit breast cancer research.

L.A. Chapter Service Day Saturday, Oct. 25: Join alumni in L.A. and participate in their annual Foothill Community Cleanup Day at Dunsmore Park in Glendale. Please RSVP by Oct. 18 to info@elonla.com.
