Tom Nelson, an associate professor of communications, presented a paper on the future of the book on Oct. 26 during the International Conference on the Book at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
Nelson’s paper focused on the need to reconcile the written word with the visual image as the two are a team rather than competitors.
