President Leo M. Lambert, trustees and members of the Law School Advisory Board and Board of Visitors have been named to the Triad Business Journal's 2009 Most Influential List. The special section was part of the Dec. 5 edition of the Business Journal.
Lambert earned a spot on the list of 107 Triad leaders because “he has
pushed in the last several years to build bridges between Alamance
County and Guilford County,” the paper said. “Lambert is now putting his influence to the test as Elon launched the public portion of a three-year, $100 million fundraising campaign in October.”
This is the fifth consecutive year Lambert has been named to the list.
Elon trustees Tom Chandler, Louis DeJoy, Allen Gant Jr., Jack Lindley Sr., Bobby Long and Jim Powell
were also chosen for the list.
Others who made the Most Influential list included the following:
Board of Visitors members Nancy Dunn and Fairfax Reynolds, Law School Advisory Board member Henry Frye, Law School founding donor Jim Melvin, and adjunct instructor of finance Dick Shirley.
