Elon's Alumni Association is pleased to announce the new leadership and members of the 2009 Young Alumni Council. The council seeks to strengthen connections between Elon and graduates of the past decade. 

Elon’s Men’s Lacrosse Club Team enters the 2009 season ranked #8 in the country by Lacrosse Magazine in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) Division II. 

Thirty-eight students enrolled Jan. 5, 2009, in the DPT program in the Department of Physical Therapy Education. Their enrollment marks Elon’s seventh class of DPT students.

Rudy Zarzar, a professor of political science, was interviewed at length by WFMY News 2 (Greensboro, N.C.) for a Jan. 1 segment on local reaction to the conflict in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.
