Elon’s Men’s Lacrosse Club Team enters the 2009 season ranked #8 in the country by Lacrosse Magazine in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) Division II.
The 2009 team is anchored by seniors Dennis Moore (goalie, West Hartford, Conn.), Pat Brooks (attack, Cambridge, Md.), Alex Federal (midfield, Charlotte, N.C.) and Andy Rill (defense, Westminster, Md.).
In 2008, the men’s lacrosse club won the Southeastern Lacrosse Conference and advanced to the quarterfinals in the MCLA National Championship Tournament in Dallas.
This year’s team starts the 2009 campaign with a home game against Georgia State on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.
