At the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Washington, D.C., Jeff Clark gave a presentation on “Writing in Undergraduate Mathematics.”
Senior Colleen McCarthy presented a poster of her work on the “Mathematical Properties of Jai Alai” (mentored by James Beuerle) and senior Jessica Stewart presented a poster on “Traditional and Digraph Iterated Function Systems for Variations of Peano’s Space-filling Curve” (mentored by Jeff Clark).
Math alumnae Katie Iwancio and Jeannette Olli, both of whom are completing their doctorates in mathematics, also presented at this conference.
