Elon cheerleaders, football players and Kappa Alpha fraternity members are collecting donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Proceeds from the following event will be contributed to their efforts:
Tuesday, March 10
Red Bowl at Alamance Crossing
10% will be donated to the MDA team for the amount of receipts collected in the box from 5-9 p.m.
The students, led by Elon University staff member Gloria Thompson, will be taking part this month in the “Stride and Ride” event at the Four Seasons Town Centre in Greensboro, N.C. Donations will help send kids to Camp Carefree, a program for children with muscular dystrophy sponsored by the Phoenix Team in honor of Elon alum Josh Cranfill.
