What are your thoughts about “the other?” How would you tell a story about “the other” using video and being limited to only 50 words of dialogue?
The participants in this year’s 50/50 Film Festival were faced with that challenge and had only 50 hours to write, shoot and edit their response. Come to Yeager Recital Hall tonight at 8 p.m. and watch the offerings of eight student teams. Immediately after the screening the judges will announce the winners and award the cash prizes. Awards will be given for Best Overall, Runner-up, Viewer’s Choice, Best male lead and Best female lead.
Talk to members of the teams and the judges at the reception just after the awards are announced.
