S.T.A.N.D. (a committee off of SFPJ) will have its first meeting on Tuesday, March 10, from 9-10 p.m. in the Commuter Lounge. S.T.A.N.D. is dedicated to helping end the genocide in Darfur which has been going on since 2003. Already 400,000 people have been killed and more than 2.5 million people have been displaced by the Janjaweed militia and the Sudanese government.
