Acclaimed pianist visits Elon for March 12 recital

Joseph Kalichstein, a renowned musician whose piano performances have garnered international accolades, will perform classical works in a March 12 campus performance as part of the Adams Foundation Recital Series sponsored by Elon University and the (Burlington, N.C.) Times-News.

Acclaimed for the heartfelt intensity and technical mastery of his playing, Kalichstein enthralls audiences, winning equal praise as orchestral soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. His program at Elon will include works by Robert Schumann, Felix Mendelssohn and Frederick Chopin.
