Because Elon has a foreign language requirement, students are expected to take the appropriate placement exam. Elon offers exams in five languages: French, German, Italian, Latin and Spanish.

Students and parents may attend different sessions. Student volunteers with colored balloons will guide you from the front of Moseley Center to your session 10 minutes prior to start time.

Be sure to choose a location to meet your family member prior to the lunch/tour/student life session.

Ask questions about residence life; get an overview of housing options; and find out about phones, cable, lofts, etc. Bring your Guide to Residence Life (found in your registration packet).

10 – 11:45 a.m. Small Group Advising Sessions
Incoming freshmen will meet with academic advisers and student assistants to review the course preference registration process. See your group advising location guide in your packet.
