Several individuals responded to phishing scams that asked for username and passwords, resulting in huge delays in email.
This morning eight accounts were compromised because users sent their email username and password to a phishing scam. These emails look like legitimate emails from the help desk at Elon. Remember never to give your email password to anyone online. This action allows SPAMMERS to use your email account to send SPAM under your name.
We should have the email system cleaned up by early evening.
