An Elon University faculty member and two School of Communications students were featured March 11 in a Fox 8 (WGHP/High Point, N.C.) feature segment that examined the level of privacy, or lack thereof, that teenagers and young adults expect in the era of Facebook and YouTube.
Brooke Barnett, an associate professor of communications, spoke with reporter Bob Buckley for his regular segment, “The Buckley Report,” which is distributed to Fox affiliates across the United States. Buckley visited campus in February to ask Barnett about privacy in the digital age.
Buckley also spoke with juniors Margeaux Corby and Morgan Little, both of whom work for The Pendulum student newspaper, about their views on privacy as young adults.
