There is a new official Elon University organization called HEART: Helping Elon’s Ailing Remember Together. HEART is a support network dedicated to offering peer support to Elon students who are coping with having an ailing or deceased loved one.
There is also a service component that is open to all students who want to fight back against terminal illness by participating in awareness and fundraising events. If you are interested in joining or learning more about HEART, please email Ellen Kaspik at ekaspik@elon.edu.
Also, if you are interested in holding a leadership position, the positions of secretary and treasurer are still open.
