Professor emeritus David Noer is the featured guest blogger on CNBC.com's "Bullish on Books" blog, where the Sept. 28 entry promotes his latest book, Healing the Wounds: Overcoming the Trauma of Layoffs and Revitalizing Downsized Organizations.
Noer’s book has already received attention from the American Management Association, BusinessWeek, Psychology Today and several other media outlets.
The book “offers up a profound prescription” for helping employees, survivors and organizations manage with the layoffs that have become common in the current economic crisis.
In addition to Healing the Wounds, he has written four other books: Multinational People Management, How to Beat the Employment Game, Jobkeeping, and Breaking Free. He also writes a monthly column for the News & Record in Greensboro, N.C.
