Dealing With Grief? New Grief Support Group offered by Counseling Services

Seasons of Grief
Grief is a natural reaction to loss, and typical feelings may include depression, loneliness, anger, guilt, shock, and denial. This group is for students who have experienced the death of a family member, partner, friend, or any special person in their life. The sessions will focus on understanding the grieving process, what to expect from yourself and others during the grieving process, and on ways to cope with the emotional pain and disruption natural to such significant loss, especially when living in the college environment. This provides support for dealing with these feelings and helps facilitate movement through the grieving process. Students at all phases of grief are welcome. Meeting dates & times TBD
