Michael Dougherty, chairman and CEO of Kindermusik International, challenged students to consider new paradigms of responsible leadership during a presentation last Thursday evening in the LaRose Digital Theatre of Koury Business Center.
As the guest speaker for students in business and marketing classes, Dougherty discussed how companies can be profitable and be progressive corporate citizens. He cited several innovative firms and their successful and sustainable business models.
Dougherty’s company, Kindermusik International, is a leading publisher of educational music for children with a presence in 70 countries. The company is employee-owned, and is recognized nationally for its financial transparency and open-book management.
