Still looking for something to do over fall break? Why not join Elon Outdoors in our trip to the Gauley River in West Virginia. Enjoy some of the best whitewater rafting on the east coast coupled with scenic day hikes in the mountains around the river. You might even get to watch experienced base jumpers propell themselves off the 876 ft New River Gorge Bridge in celebration of Bridge Day, a nationally known festival taking place this weekend. This will be a fun and action packed experience that you don’t want to miss!
Cost of Trip: $100 (includes transportation, rafting, food, and any camping gear needed)
Sign ups begin at the front desk of Campus Recreation at noon. Be sure to bring your payment in the form of cash, Phoenix cash, or check to reserve your spot on the trip. Like all trips, it will be first come first serve so try and get there on time.
