Leisure and Sport Management students, faculty and a local professional from the RBC Center spoke recently at the NCAAHPERD conference in Winston-Salem, N.C., held Nov. 12-14, 2009.
The title of the session was Sport Management Internships: Faculty, Student & Agency Perspectives. Faculty members Anne Marx, Tony Weaver & Hal Walker attended with students who recently completed their LSM internships, including Kailey Branham, Rachel Trink & Ryan Pauley.
The agency representative was Robert K. Douglas, senior event coordinator at the RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C. Panelists shared their experiences and attendees asked various questions during a 75-minute session.
