Millard Lee, a custodian for physical plant services, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009. Lee worked in the afternoons at Elon University and was responsible for custodial service in the Center for the Arts offices and music rooms, as well as monitoring special events there in the evenings.
Supervisors described Lee’s work ethic as “second to none” and on Friday said his presence on campus will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at Blackwell Funeral Home at 1292 Rahut Street in Burlington. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at First Baptist Church. The church address is 508 Apple St. in Burlington.
