Here’s how The IGNITE Challenge works:
Make a gift of $20 or more in February (includes cash, online gifts, new recurring gifts and payments on pledges made after June 1, 2009). Your gift qualifies you for membership in IGNITE, Elon’s giving program for graduates of the past decade.

The payoff:
5-to-1 match by Kerrii Anderson ’79
Make a gift of $20, and Anderson will contribute $100 to Elon. Give $100 and Anderson will give $500. Anderson’s matching dollars will support students, faculty and programs.

Challenge progress as of Feb. 17, 2010:
Number of young alumni donors: 272
Young alumni gifts to Elon: $18,139
Matching dollars from Kerrii Anderson: $90,695
Total Challenge funds: $108,834

There is still time to participate. If you haven’t made your gift this year, please consider making it today and join The IGNITE Challenge. Click on the link to the right to make your gift online. You can use the same online gift form to make a pledge payment. We’ll bet you 5-to-1 that your gift has never had more impact at Elon!

If you have made your gift, thank you for your support! Please help us spread the word by encouraging your classmates to join the Challenge. As of Feb.17, the Classes of 2006 and 2009 are tied for first place in participation in the Challenge.

This is such a wonderful challenge Kerrii has given us,” says Rikki Nimmo-Dalton ’05. “I hope that I will be in the position to give back in the same way 25 years from now!
