Mar TBA – Reading Group

Synaptic Self: How Our Brains Become Who We Are RSVP reqd

Reading group: Synaptic Self:
How Our Brains Become Who We Are

by Joseph LeDoux (Penguin, 2003) – co-sponsored by the Neuroscience program.

Meeting times to be scheduled.

RSVP to Barbara Guy (bguy@elon.edu) if you would like to participate in this reading group.

LeDoux, a distinguished professor of psychology at NYU, makes neuroscience research accessible to non-specialists. In the process, he raises important questions about learning, memory, and identity – central questions to teaching and learning at the university level. Each group will meet three times during the semester at a time that’s convenient for all (or as many as possible) participants.
