Associate Professor of Communications Jessica Gisclair received a $875 Community Partner Initiative Grant from Elon University for her COM 452: Strategic Campaign course this spring.
CPI projects effectively demonstrate collaborative partnerships between campus entities and local agencies and has the potential for long-term impact on both the community and on students.
Gisclair and her students will work with SouthLight Inc., a non-profit organization in North Carolina that for 40 years has been dedicated to empowering individuals and families affected by substance use to make positive choices which support sustained recovery.
