Love School of Business assistant finance professor Neeraj Gupta was recently awarded the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charter by the CFA Institute, after passing final level CFA exam in June 2009. The CFA Charter is the designation of excellence in the investment community for money management professionals, investors and academics.
On attaining the charter, Neeraj helped initiate a CFA Student Scholarship program at Elon. Each academic year, the Department of Finance will sponsor five LSB seniors to enroll for the CFA Level I exam at a significantly reduced cost.
