Paula DiBiasio from the Physical Therapy Education department facilitated a session on WordPress blog usage sponsored by Teaching and Learning Technologies on April 16.
Elon is now hosting an installation of WordPress Multi-User blogging software. This means faculty can create course or program blogs, accessible with Elon usernames and passwords. Faculty members and their students can instantly publish written and photographic material that can be used as a part of a teaching strategies repertoire.
Course blogs can be used by faculty and students to create collaborative Internet resources, to journal out-of-class experiences, to reflect on course activities and course readings, to publish student creative work and to create virtual course Web sites with multiple contributors.
