Henry Gabriel presents on Intermediated Securities at American Society of International Law meeting

Elon Law professor Henry Gabriel recently presented on the new Geneva Convention on Intermediated Securities at the annual meeting of the American Society of International Law in Washington D.C.

Gabriel also recently chaired the Uniform Law Commission Working Group on the Implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts.

The Uniform Law Commission is proposing methods of implementing the Convention by the United States that provides a federal and state law balance.

Gabriel was a member of the United States Delegation that negotiated the Convention at the United Nations.
