The Love School of Business at Elon University has established a new scholarship in honor of Peter Tourtellot, immediate past chair of the school’s board of advisors. The Peter L. Tourtellot Scholarship will be awarded beginning in April 2011 to an eligible business student.
Tourtellot is a principal founder of Anderson Bauman Tourtellot Vos, a turnaround management firm based in Greensboro, N.C. He is a leading figure in the development of the turnaround management profession. Tourtellot has been a member of the Love School of Business Board of Advisors since 1996, and served as Chair from 2003 until he stepped down in April. During his time as chair, the school achieved accreditation by AACSB International and built the Koury Business Center.
