Tom Nelson, an associate professor in the School of Communications, is working as a television news reporter as part of his summer professional development plan.
Nelson is assigned to a seven-day stretch with KXMB-TV in Bismarck, N.D., where his duties include at least one story broadcast each night on the CBS affiliate news station.
