Elon University Poll director Hunter Bacot spoke with News 14 Carolina on July 9 on recent controversies in the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and how Gov. Bev Perdue has handled the public relations fallout.
In an interview with News 14 anchor Tracey Early, Bacot says that Perdue has done about as much as she can without making wholesale changes to the top leadership of the patrol, which itself can bring about problems.
