Fifteen brave Elon faculty and staff members donned garbage bags and set aside their dignity for the annual "Pie Your Professor" event at the spring semester's final College Coffee in May.

With President Leo M. Lambert's familiar charge of "Long live Elon!" more than 1,100 seniors became part of the Elon alumni community after Commencement Under the Oaks on Saturday, May 22. From the Salisbury Post (7/18/10): The North Carolina Legislature made laudable headway in open government law as it closed out its annual session last week. The progress was not all it should have been, to be sure, but by North Carolina's mostly cloudy standards, it was a rare win for sunshine.
