Darris Means, assistant director of the Elon Academy, was one of five keynote speakers at the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Convention on August 6 in Kansas City, Mo.
Means discussed the Elon Academy and the literacy grant that the Academy received from Phi Kappa Phi. The grant was used to begin an Elon Academy Book Jam in collaboration with Elon’s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi. The literacy grant project was led by Kim Pyne and Darris Means.
