Did you know Elon has a new student-run organization?
It is called HEART (Helping Elon Actively Remember Together). This is its second year as an official student organization at Elon. HEART is a support network for students who have ailing or deceased loved ones, as well as, a service organization open to anyone that wants to help fight back against terminal illness.
For those of you who have lost a loved one, this is a great group to join to realize that you are not alone. The great thing about HEART is that its not just about talking, it’s about doing. We hold fundraisers and lots of community service events to help fight back against cancer and other illnesses.
