Paul Miller, a professor of exercise science, will serve as the first division chair for the newly approved Health Sciences Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research.
The division specializes in exercise science, nutrition, nursing, pre-medicine and occupational health/safety.
“We look forward to developing initiatives that will support and facilitate the wonderful scholarship undergraduate students are doing in health sciences,” Miller said.
Eric Hall, an associate professor of exercise science, also contributed to the formation of the division.
