School of Communications hosting homecoming alumni activities Oct. 22

The School of Communications will hold its second annual Alumni Wisdom Session titled “Elon 2.0: Success after Elon” and alumni reception starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22 in Studio B in the McEwen Communications building.

Students who attend will be part of a studio audience that will ask alumni questions and engage them in conversation. Seniors Jasmine Spencer and Joey Accordino will host the event.

The following panelists will share their expertise and advice:

  • Michelle Gurney Sartori (’99), Brand & Media Licensing Executive at International Game Technology (IGT), Reno, Nevada
  • Lindsay Eney (’09), Communications, Chesapeake Research Consortium / Chesapeake Bay Program
  • Erika Hasenfus (’08), Assistant to the President and National Publisher, Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine, New York
  • Marty Callinan (’08), Statistics Associate, ESPN, Bristol, Conn.
  • Alexa Milan (’10), Education/ Features Reporter, The Sanford Herald, N.C.
  • Ashley Barnas (’10), Lead Video Producer, The News Journal, New Castle, Del.

Also, please invite your students to attend the alumni homecoming reception Immediately following the wisdom session in the McEwen lobby, the School will host an alumni homecoming reception for alumni, current students, faculty and staff.
