Elon football alumnus Chris Werden '09 has signed to play for the Saint-Ouen-l'Aumone Cougars, part of a professional football league in France, according to the (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier.
Werden had been working as an offensive line coach at his alma mater, the Porter-Gaud School, in Charleston when the opportunity came about. He tells Post and Courier reporter Philip Bowman he hopes the opportunity brings him a step closer to fulfilling his dream of playing in the NFL.
