Darris Means '05, assistant director of the Elon Academy, recently received the Committee Member of the Year Award from the North Carolina College Personnel Association. NCCPA, a state division of the American College Personnel Association, is committed to the education and development of postsecondary students in North Carolina.
Means earned the award for his work to diversify the organization and integrate principles of social justice and diversity throughout the organization. He currently serves as the Member-At-Large for Diversity and Social Justice for NCCPA.
