Elon Army ROTC conducted the Cadet Oath of Office to it’s latest contracted Scholarship Cadet in a very special swearing-in on Nov. 20, 2010.
Cadet Alexis Stones, (Elon ’14), received the Cadet Oath of Office from her father, Lieutenant-Colonel Richard Stones, USMC. After administering the oath to his daughter, LtCol Stones’ remarks to the assembled Cadets included advice on the importance of the Joint Force in today’s operational environment. He emphasized the greater interoperabiity and cohesion required between the branches of the Armed Forces of the United States.
