Janet MacFall, of the Dept. of Environmental Studies, has been elected to the National Board for Professional Certification of the Ecological Society of America.
The Ecological Society of America is the premiere professional organization internationally addressing ecological systems and environmental services. The Professional Certification Board of the Ecological Society of America provides accreditation for professional ecologists based on academics, scholarship and professional activity. MacFall is nationally recognized as a Senior Ecologist by the ESA. Board certified professionals are able to provide expert testimony and recommendations to government agencies, non-profits and the business community.
