Elon University's Circle of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society inducted its newest class on Feb. 6 in an afternoon ceremony in Holt Chapel.
Inductees are juniors or seniors in the top 35 percent of their class, who have been in residence at least one semester, and who have exhibited outstanding leadership in more than one area of the university community. Four faculty members were also inducted into the organization.
ODK reported a strong applicant pool this year and encourages juniors who applied but were not selected to re-apply next year.
The national ODK organization recognizes achievement in the following areas:
– Scholarship
– Athletics
– Campus/ Community Service, Social/Religious Activities, and Campus Government
– Journalism, Speech and the Mass Media
– Creative and Performing Arts
