Phillipe Charles '06, a creative services producer at FOX 50, an affiliate of WRAL-TV in Durham, N.C. received two Emmy awards at the 25th annual MidSouth Regional Emmy Awards on Saturday, Jan. 29.
Charles’ team was recognized for its coverage of the Duke men’s basketball national championship (Continuing Coverage – Within 24 Hours Category) and the aftermath of the January 2010 Haiti earthquake (Continuing Coverage – No Time Limit Category). Charles served as a video editor for both projects.

Charles received his degree in broadcast communications from Elon in 2006.
