The Triangle alumni chapter is joining forces with the Elon MBA program to create the Elon for the Cure Team to participate in the 2011 Komen NC Triangle Race for the Cure! Breast cancer is something that has touched most people in one way or another so don’t miss this opportunity to support a great cause. The Triangle race is in its 15th year and has raised over $12 million to support breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment programs.
To register following these simple instructions. Visit www.komentriangle.org. Click on Komen Race for the Cure. Scroll down and click on “Teams.” In the middle of the page you will see “Join a Team.” In that box type “Elon for the Cure” then click search for teams. You will see our team with Victoria Dixon as team captain; click join. Choose the recreational adult race that costs $25. Registration after April 2 costs $5 more.
