Communications student Jay Light accepted to work at Cannes Film Festival

Junior Communications major Jay Light has been accepted to work at this year's Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, from May 8-23.

He’ll be working with the American Pavilion, a company that sets up hospitality centers at international film festivals. The American Pavilion at Cannes is the largest one the company sets up, and Light, along with other students from across the United States who have been accepted to the program, will be working for six hours a day directly with AmPav in their facilities.

Light is a Communications Fellow, who also serves as host to the game show “Win Stuff,” Elon Student Television’s longest running program.

The Cannes Film Festival is the largest festival of its kind, and it brings together film professionals from throughout the world. The festival is celebrating its 64th year this May.
