Saturday, May 14, Loaves & Fishes is having its annual Postal Food Drive from noon to 6 p.m. The Postal Food Drive is an event where Burlington area postal workers collect donations for Loaves & Fishes while on their postal routes and at the end of their route drop-off the food at Loaves & Fishes’ Burlington location.
Loaves & Fishes is in dire need of volunteers to work the duration of the event, a three hour shift, a two hour shift, a one hour shift or whatever works with you or your group’s availability. There are two tasks we will need help with: 1. Unloading food from the mail carriers’ vehicles and 2. Sorting the food to be placed in the Loaves & Fishes distribution center.
