Community conversation on death of Osama bin Laden – May 9

Elon University is hosting a special community event Monday afternoon, "Forum on the Death of Osama Bin Laden, Reactions at Elon and Around the World, and Future Implications,” where a panel of faculty and students will facilitate a conversation surrounding the terrorist's death. The forum takes place at 5:30 p.m. in LaRose Digital Theatre.

The conversation will focus on the response seen and heard on Elon’s campus and around the world, and the implications for the future.The forum provides an opportunity to hear from experts in various fields and persons for whom this event may hold special significance, and for the university community to have a chance to engage in meaningful dialogue.

There will be brief opening remarks from panelists, followed by questions and comments from the audience, to which the panel members will respond.
