Tom Nelson, Kevin Burrows G’10 help build historical society’s website

Kevin Burrows G'10, of the School of Communications’ iMedia graduate program, and Tom Nelson, an associate professor from the School of Communications, traveled to Cloud County, Kan., the week of May 22, 2011, to construct an interactive website for the county’s museum and historical society.

Kevin Burrows G’10 (holding computer) joined with associate professor Tom Nelson (center) in helping leaders from Cloud County, Kansas, develop a website for the local historical society.

The website is constructed to hold Nelson’s recent documentary video focused on a World War II-era prison camp for captured Axis soldiers that was located within Cloud County.

The website is also designed to expand to accommodate any other historical documents or memorabilia that county officials wish to digitize for future reference.
