Professors participate in Council of Undergraduate Research annual board meetings

Paul Miller, professor of exercise science and director of Undergraduate Research; Eric Hall, associate professor of exercise science; Mat Gendle, associate professor of psychology; and Steve DeLoach, professor of economics; attended the annual business meetings of the Council of Undergraduate Research in St. Louis, MO, June 14-18.

Gendle and Miller were elected to office in 2010, while Hall and DeLoach were elected to a new three-year term in 2011. Miller was recently elected chair of the new Health Sciences division of CUR.

The mission of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) is to support and promote high-quality undergraduate student-faculty collaborative research and scholarship. CUR has over 7,000 individual members worldwide. Currently, 119 Elon faculty are active members of CUR.
