Omri Shimron is invited to grade AP Music Theory exams

Omri Shimron, assistant professor of music, has been invited to participate in the annual reading and scoring of the College Board's Advanced Placement Examinations this June in the subject of Music Theory.

The reading took place at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, OH from June 11-19. Around 18,500 exams were administered this year and approximately 130 collegiate and high-school teachers participated in the reading and scoring. The event fosters a disciplinary dialogue between teachers from diverse settings and serves as an engaging professional development opportunity.
